Children's ministry
esus said, “Let the little children come to me,” and at St. Peter’s, we take his statement seriously. We offer a variety of programs for children of all ages (including those who are young at heart)!
During the Service: At St. Peter’s, we value our children and consider them to be an important part of the body of Christ, rather than a distraction. Each Sunday morning, children ages 3 through 5th grade spend part of their time in the main service and part of their time in Children’s Church. During Children's Church, we discuss the Gospel passage in a way that our children can more easily understand it. We group the children by age into three classes — ages 3 and 4 are in our preschool class; children in kindergarten through 2nd grade make up our early elementary class; and those in 3rd through 5th grades are in our older elementary class.
Plans are in the works for a youth group for those in middle and high school. Stay tuned!
Vacation Bible School — Old Rome
For children age four and younger, we offer professional nursery care in a child-friendly environment.
Children’s Choir:
We are proud of our children’s talents and schedule them to sing often. All are welcome to participate; practice is held at the beginning of Sunday School classes.
