What is a Christian?
The word Christian means "a follower of Christ." It refers to people who have asked Jesus to be their Savior and ultimate Authority about how they should live their lives. A Christian is not simply someone who goes to church. Going to church will not make you a Christian any more than visiting Kentucky Fried Chicken will make you a chicken leg! Being a Christian is also not just living a good life. A lot of good people in the world are not Christians. Many also believe that, because we live in a so-called "Christian country," by default this makes us Christians. Unfortunately, however, that does not make you a Christian, either.
